Title: Some Recent Advances in Hamiltonian Stationary Lagrangian Manifolds

Abstract:
In this mini-course, we will discuss regularity of solutions to the Hamiltonian stationary equation which is a fourth order nonlinear elliptic equation,and the compactness of the space of the Hamiltonian stationary Lagrangian manifolds with uniform volume and total curvature bounds. The materials are based on joint work with Micah Warren.
About the lecturer：
Jingyi Chen received his Ph.D from Stanford University in 1992 and BSc degree from Peking University in 1986.
He is a Professor of Mathematics at the University of British Columbia. He works in Differential Geometry and Partial Differential Equations.
