摘要: In this talk, we will first review some basic geometric background related to the Willmore energy of surfaces, and then discuss several results on rigidity, curvature estimates and compactness of Willmore surfaces and briefly mention the Willmore conjecture. I will explain how some of the typical techniques and methods from geometric analysis are applied.
