报告摘要:In this talk, we will first give a general introduction of kinetic equations with multiple scalings and random uncertainties. We will discuss a class of models and develop the multi-fidelity method to solve the high-dimensional uncertainty quantification (UQ) problems. As an example, we will study the Boltzmann equation, linear transport equations, epidemic transport systems, Vlasov-Poisson equations etc. Furthermore, by using the hypocoercivity framework, we will conduct sensitivity analysis and error estimates for UQ methods. Several numerical experiments will be shown to demonstrate the efficiency and accuracy of our proposed methods. These are joint works with Lorenzo Pareschi, Shi Jin and Xueyu Zhu.
报告人简介:刘鎏博士毕业于美国威斯康星大学麦迪逊分校,博士后在德州奥斯丁大学工作,现任职香港中文大学数学系。她主要致力于多尺度动理学方程的不确定量化问题的数值算法的研发和数值分析,在国际知名期刊SIAM MMS, Journal of Differential Equations, Journal of Computational Physics等发表论文多篇。
